Decentralised mixnet VPN — 24-word passphrase signup (no email, no phone), accepts Monero / Zcash / NYM, 5-hop Anonymous Mode with cover traffic.
They removed bandwidth limit, and now I am a happy camper!
Nym vpn is a great up and coming project, they're quite young in its release but I believe they've proving to be a active team, trying to produce a product that is ready to handle next level threats as privacy conciense person should be concerned about, unlike most vpn providers they're vulnerable to practically most surveillance and offer very little protection against it but for nym vpn their threat model as confirmed by the CEO Harry Halpin is no less then a GPA (Global passive Adversary), this is what sets Nym Vpn apart from so many vpn providers, they have features like a 5 hop mixnet, it's slow but it's speed is picking up, they have a 2 hop dvpn, quantum resistance with its Lewes protocol, ipv6 support, kill switch, paying with many different cryptos (Monero support since day one!),and much more, as of right now Nym vpn isn't perfect it does come with its bugs, it's not as audited and battle tested like Mullvad vpn and unfortunately they do have a bandwith limit, it is 2000gbs, which if you ever hit your bandwith limit they can reset it for you no problem, in my experience I have never hit the bandwith limit as of yet. Nym vpn is setting a new standard for the Vpn industry.
NymVPN is easily one of the most promising projects out there right now because they’re actually building true privacy infrastructure, not just another marketing gimmick. I’ll admit I was skeptical at first the early versions were a bit buggy and the mixnet speed was slow but the dev team has been incredibly active, listening closely to the community and working tirelessly to fix those rough edges. Their commitment to a decentralized mixnet backed by zero-knowledge proofs genuinely sets them apart from standard VPNs, and seeing how fast they’ve improved the product makes me confident they’re here to stay and deliver on real anonymity. Huge thanks to the Nym team for working so hard for us!
