Non-custodial crypto POS: Lightning, Monero and USDT paid straight to your own wallet, from a browser link.
Solid pick. Verified working but with a meaningful caveat (UX rough, smaller market, intermediate trust step, partial coverage). Listed because the trade-off is sometimes worth it.

pwa.cash is a verified, functional privacy tool that performs solidly for day-to-day use, provided readers account for its specific operational trade-offs.
A cash register that installs from a link. pwa.cash is a point of sale and pay link for small shops that want to take Lightning, Monero, USDT and USDC, in person or online. You open it in a browser and sign in with a passkey: no email, no password, no phone number, with one-time recovery codes in case you lose the device. Customers pay from their own phone, at the counter from a keypad or item tiles, or online through the shop's pay link or a printed QR poster.
Payments go straight to your wallet. It only watches. For Lightning you give it an address that supports payment verification (LUD-21) or a receive-only NWC connection (one that can send is refused); for Monero, your primary address and private view key; for stablecoins, your own Tron or Ethereum address. Each Monero sale gets a fresh subaddress, Monero is listed first at checkout, and you can run a Monero-only shop by adding only a Monero wallet. Confirmations scale with the sale size, and small Monero sales can optionally count as paid on broadcast (up to $25 by default, $100 at most) after a mempool and double-spend check.
Built against wallet swaps. After your first sale, a new or changed wallet waits 24 hours before it receives anything, and you're alerted outside the app (ntfy or push, no contact details needed). Cashier phones pair with a one-time QR code and can't touch wallets or settings.
What it sees and holds. It's a hosted service: it sees your sales records (amounts and items) for reports, and the view key shows it every incoming payment to that wallet, so use a wallet only for the shop. The 0.5% fee (minimum $0.01) comes from a prepaid balance you top up in Lightning, USDT or Monero; that balance sits with pwa.cash, can't be withdrawn and is capped at $500. Customers paying in another coin go through a fixed-rate swap at a third-party exchange via kyc.rip, which holds the funds mid-swap and settles to the shop in Monero.
Ours. pwa.cash is built by the developer behind kyc.rip and xmr.club, on rails that already run other kyc.rip services, and is graded by the same rubric. The domain first hosted the same developer's website-to-app tool; the point of sale launched in October 2026, so there's no track record for it yet, which is what keeps it at B for now.
0.5% per sale (min $0.01) from a prepaid balance · other coins via kyc.rip swap from $10
