Temporary numbers for SMS codes from $0.10, paid in XMR; key-only account, refunded if no code arrives.
sms.lease is a new no-KYC SIM on its internship: listed early, not graded yet. Use small amounts until it graduates.
sms.lease rents you a phone number for 20 minutes so you can receive one verification code. Pick the service (1,300+ listed, from WhatsApp and Telegram to Google and Discord), pick a country, and the number appears in seconds. Prices start at $0.10 per received code. If nothing arrives within the lease, or you cancel first, the price goes back to your balance automatically.
The account is a 16-character key shown once, with no email, password or recovery: lose it and the balance is gone. Top-ups start at $5 and pay straight to a fresh Monero subaddress on their own wallet, and no top-up history is kept: the balance is the only record; other coins go through the processor Heleket. The balance never expires but can't be withdrawn, so top up only what you'll use. There's an API, an onion mirror, and support on Telegram.
What they keep. The privacy policy is unusually specific. They say they store only a salted hash of your key, its last 4 characters, the balance and the creation date; no IP addresses (access logs off), no order history (an order lives in memory until 15 minutes after the lease ends, SMS text included), and no analytics or third-party scripts. A Monero top-up is linked to your account for 3 days and then forgotten, and the server wallet can only see incoming payments, not spend them. We can't audit any of that, but it's written precisely enough to be held to. Two limits they state themselves: whoever operates a number can read the SMS that arrives on it, and coins paid through Heleket are visible to Heleket and can be held for its own checks, so pay in Monero.
Know what these numbers are for: one-off codes. A leased number goes back into the pool, so anything tied to it long-term (a messenger account you want to keep, account recovery) can be taken over by the next person who gets that number. The service launched in November 2026, so start with a small top-up.
