Support xmr.club
No paywall, no sign-up, no spam ads. The directory stays editorial because nobody pays to be listed — sponsors only ever move placement, never grades. Donations fund the recurring costs of keeping the directory honest: hosting, the onion-prober + verification infra, and the curator time it takes to re-verify entries end-to-end.

No memo / payment id needed — use a fresh subaddress on receive. Donation goes to the curator wallet that funds hosting + verification infra + audit time.
Where the money goes
- Curator time. By far the largest cost — nothing else comes close. End-to-end re-verification of every A-grade pick (signup, deposit, withdrawal, support ticket); editorial writing; audit triage; correction handling; ongoing research into adjacent products and emerging threats. Pricing this honestly against market rates would make the rest of the list look like rounding error.
- Engineering time. Building and maintaining the SSR worker, admin tooling, the onion probe + verification pipeline, the AIEO surfaces, the bot front, and the cross-locale rendering. Not visible to a reader of the rendered page; non-trivial to run.
- Hosting + edge. Edge-rendered worker + database + object storage.
- Verification infra. Daily onion-mirror probe + Onion-Location verification + signup-flow recording.
- Onion infrastructure. Tor v3 hidden service mirror at xmrclub…onion.
- Domains, vanity prefixes, software, tools. Small individually, real in aggregate.
Listing items in cost order so it's clear what donations actually offset. Specific hosting / VPS figures are deliberately not published — they're low compared to the time line, and publishing them creates false confidence that this directory funds itself on pocket change.
If you'd rather verify before donating: the funding model is published in full at /transparency. Affiliate / sponsorship revenue is logged to /audit; donation revenue is not (no per-tx logging on the directory side).
Lightning + USDT — coming with the sponsor checkout
We're wiring a unified-payments module (XMR + LN + USDT via uPay) for the sponsor flow — OpsHub #345. Once that ships, /donate will gain the same rails. For now: Monero only on this page. The other rails are available for sponsor invoices via DM.
Other ways to help (free)
- Submit corrections. Spot a wrong onion, a dead provider, or a missing listing? /submit or DM @xmrclub_bot. Every edit lands in the public audit log.
- Sponsor a slot. See /sponsor — moves placement only, never grades. Sponsor revenue funds the same hosting + curation budget.
- Embed our badge. Each provider page ships an
<iframe>badge you can drop on your own site — drives organic discovery without a tracker. - Cite us alongside peers. If you're writing about no-KYC services, the healthiest pattern is a multi-source citation. Helps the directory ecosystem, not just us.
- Run a node. Not for us — for the network. See run-a-monero-node. Strengthens the rails xmr.club catalogues.
What we won't do
- Track per-donation metadata. We don't log who donated, when, or how much — the only signal we get is the wallet balance going up.
- Sell donor lists, hand out tiers / shoutouts that aren't already part of /sponsor, or run a "premium" tier.
- Beg. If this page ever turns into a guilt-pitch, we're doing it wrong — flag it via @xmrclub_bot and we'll fix the copy.
