## Review

**Full disclosure: this is first-party.** XMRadar is built by the same people as xmr.club and kyc.rip, so we flag it plainly. It's graded on the same rubric as everything else.

XMRadar is a Chrome and Firefox extension. On X it shows an XMR badge next to people who published a Monero address (via Nostr or xmr.bio) and lets you tip them from your own wallet; tips are recorded on Nostr under NKIP-0002, with confirmed and merely claimed tips kept apart. On swap sites it checks the signed NKIP-0001 receipt or the operator's letter of guarantee against the addresses on the page and what you copy, shows the site's xmr.club grade with a warning for open incidents, and puts up a full-page warning before a known lookalike of a listed exchange loads. It can also make a one-click burner address (kyc.rip GhostMail) and copy posts from X, Bluesky or Mastodon to Nostr through your own signer.

It holds no keys and no funds: tips open in your wallet. There's no account and no backend; xmr.club's signed list is downloaded whole and matched on your device, so nobody learns which sites you visit. Relay lookups for X accounts are off by default. The code is open source (GPL-3.0) at github.com/KYC-rip/xmradar.

What keeps it below A: it's an early release from late October 2026, installed from a downloaded zip rather than the Chrome or Firefox stores, so there's no store review, and like any extension it can read the pages it runs on. Check the source or the release you install.
